EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANNING - ON SCENE CO-ORDINATOR TRAINING

HIGHLIGHTS

Most organisations do not have effective plans in place to manage events following an emergency or crisis. How an organisation fares in the aftermath of an accident or emergency depends on how well it handles the first few hours and days following a major crisis. Having trained personnel to coordinate such activities as required can make the difference of how well or how badly the crisis was handled. This course is geared towards training people to be efficient On-Scene Co-Ordinators, who are the key to well handled crisis management whether Search and Rescue / Disasters / Accidents etc.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Personnel from Maritime Organisations, Aeronautical Agencies, Aircrew, Operations personnel, Armed Forces personnel, Airport Emergency Services, Oil Rig operators, Fire & Rescue Department and other Government and Private agencies responsible for performing functions related to Disaster Relief & SAR .

Mandated by ICAO Doc 9859 and Malaysian DCA AIC 12/2008 - (Safety Management Systems) - Establishing ERP is compulsory for all aviation related operators, MROs and service providers as part of their Safety Management System.
